Texas Criminal Defense Group had a great time sponsoring the 1st Annual Slack-A-Thon .5K at the Shops at Wolflin Square this past September! Unlike your typical race… this was for the slackers!
We loved seeing participants get through the race by eating donuts, drinking coffee, and taking full advantage of the beer hydration stations and carb-loading checkpoints.
Most importantly, the race was a great opportunity for runners to help the local organization, Martha’s Home. This nonprofit provides a shelter for local homeless women and children. Martha’s home is more than a shelter, it helps guide and empower women to work towards a lifestyle of independence and self-sufficiency.
